Hello my commrades;
Today is the 1st day of a "Week without Violence" in Topeka and across the nation. Octber 19th, 2008. Did you know that 25 years ago the federal government declared October as 'National Domestic Violence Awareness Month'- the ribbon is purple-'yeah, most people do not know- sad because DV claims the lives of more women and children than any other.
This will be my 15th year of participation in Topeka's YW events- I hope that there will be a huge turnout- "masses" presence only is louder than any one voice. I tremble to think that my own daughter will be no better off for all our torment- and that is simply unacceptable to me. There are no words that can come close to the anguish of all these years- still Justice has yet to rise her head- and well; my child- I hear she is a lot like I- it will be one day my true honor to meet her, Our children, the Future..
we must no matter how defeated it seems we must not ever give up -on them..
and with that alone- when you have nothing- you have "Hope"- and when you have Hope-'you have every thing---
our children our future- tend them well- for it is they who will be the true tear in the fabric of humanity- that will revolutionize socital change..
But we must- not let them down- we must stand united- we must stand for them- for the victims of society are deep- and life is Hope- Hope for the future- to BE the change.
I have been up all night,-again, worring about my child- not knowing anything about her- in constant (15-years) of continued Judicial Abuse- (secrets-no more) knowing that one day she will know the truth---for now though, she knows only what the courts and the abuser/perp tells her.. ( only 3 generations of lives just in my family; grandma, myself- my daughter-- the price so many have paid- And btw- for each of the judges who scored above and beyond on the 'report card' up for retention--
each have had a heavy judicial hand in this case that leads the Nation in the suit at the Inter-American Commission Human Rights-
VOTE NO To Retention- We the people desrerve Justice- and we are taking our power back..
all the above Judges are quilty of inhumane torture, think of it- all the lives all the trauma- all the pain- all for profit to those who wear 'balck robes' un touchable- non accountable in the 'god-i-fied' positions-so powerful- but so short lived- and so meek-
vote no on their retention- in unity "we are the change'- but in all-there must be 'masses' peaceful- masses- or nothing will change-
thinking I need to do the site [s] but weary and straught is the heart- so I can only say thank you Topeka.. Look at what you have done can do and more so-Will do...
