The last of seven men charged in an online sex sting operation was placed on three years of intensive supervised probation Thursday rather than being sentenced to almost five years in prison.
In sentencing Brandon Ryan Mason, 22, Shawnee County District Court Judge Jan Leuenberger departed downward, listing eight factors to justify the action. Mason could have received 59 months in prison under state sentencing guidelines. Click Here for more

The Commission on Judicial Performance - quiet simply put is - the "fox" guarding the chicken house. As is the 'Code of Judicial Conduct' (that oath thingy) along with other 'laws' and ethics NOT to break (for judges) called the cannons.

Actual complaints that do make it to the Supreme Court for 'violations' are rubber stamped with "No violation-complaint dismissed” - all behind 'closed' doors.
Making information available to the public would be a small start- at least not yet another highly financed 'look- good' commission[s] of 'protection' for the already "completely immune" from prosecution and accountability-Judiciary.
'We the people..." -though thanks to media, unity and plain ole common sense...we are all finding our voices... and "we are the power." and we trust in our own insight and common sense-
the blinders are off- We the people do not need another portection for barrior for the wonderful judges here in Shawnee County- We only need to access waht is already public records since the KansasForJudicial Preformance.org has a if you can believe this a NON open recorders ( yup, in a government look goof feel good 'we have all in contral go back to sleep 'comittee from 2006- dont know about you but that is not new to me-
try the orginal aba back in 2005- this was not made available conveintly- as the kansas bar associayion as per steven wares article( did not have control over that-

Well, there is no place like Kansas if you’re a child rapist-
We know all to well how even convicted offenders fare with our sympathetic 'poor pedophile' Judges at Shawnee Courthouse. Oh but wait- did not ALL the Judges meet or excell the reort card..? hmmm well if getting good grade is saving perps over victims- then the judges all get A+ -- what about the victims...?

Remember kansas citizens- if it is confusing-to you- like the new website of report cards- then it is supposed to be..
all we want to know is -is this a good judge, or a bad judge- why should this be like pulling teeth..? why do they want those doors shut..?
We know, we the people know, and we are not gullibale- we are honest with simple comon sense- and We are the power j;-) This is OUR government- Our judges- and when they start to not work as we the people and democracy had began- then it is time to remove those 'public servants' from their god-i-fied benches- they have failed to preform the duties, follow the law and again- plain ole common sense.
